The Denver Broncos should have tight end Noah Fant on the field and ready to go this Sunday when they host the Buffalo Bills. Fant left last week’s game early with an illness (non-COVID), and he would have missed practice on Tuesday, had the team practiced. But he was back in action on Wednesday and looks like a must-start option this week in fantasy football.
Fantasy Football analysis: Broncos TE Noah Fant
Fant didn’t have any targets before leaving last week’s game against the Panthers. The week before that, against the Chiefs, he caught four passes on seven targets for 57 yards. Fant’s been up and down recently. He didn’t crack 20 yards in the game before that, in Week 12. That’s got to worry fantasy owners just a bit who are likely leaning on him in the playoffs. Those aren’t exactly TE1 numbers in most years, but 2020 is not typical for tight ends in fantasy.
However, a healthy Fant has a regular enough role in this offense that you can’t completely fade him. The Bills have given up 124 yards and a touchdown to opposing tight ends in their last two games.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Noah Fant.
