This season, Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams has been one of the best receivers in the league and in fantasy football. Adams and Aaron Rodgers have been a top-notch fantasy football stack and must-start every week. Meanwhile, fellow receivers Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Allen Lazard have had their moments of big plays through the air.
Fantasy Football analysis: Packers WRs Davante Adams, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Allen Lazard
As previously mentioned, Adams has been a dominant option in fantasy football this season. The veteran wideout has 91 receptions (121 targets) for 1,144 yards and a career-high 14 touchdowns. Thanks to his superb connection with Rodgers, Adams has scored a touchdown in eight-straight games.
Last week against the Detroit Lions, Adams produced his second-straight with 100-plus receiving yards. He had seven receptions (10 targets) for 115 yards and a touchdown, which equaled out to 17.5 fantasy points. The three-time Pro Bowler should not have any issues on Saturday night against a Panthers’ defense that allowed rookie K.J. Hamler to record two touchdowns last week.
But let’s just say, the Panthers’ defense makes it a conscious effort to double-team Adams, it could present favorable matchups for Valdes-Scantling and Lazard. Against the Lions, Valdes-Scantling was the Packers’ second-leading wide receiver with six receptions (six targets) for 85 yards and a touchdown.
However, Lazard only had a modest two receptions (three targets) for 19 yards. Lazard is also dealing with abdomen injury, so it should be interesting to see what’s his playing status leading up to Saturday night.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Start — Marquez Valdes-Scantling as a WR3/FLEX
