Unlike starting quarterback Daniel Jones, who has been listed as questionable with a hamstring injury since earlier this week, Engram was a late add. The veteran tight end is one of the Giants’ best weapons and would be a major loss, if he cannot play. Last week against the Arizona Cardinals, Engram only had two receptions (four targets) for 18 yards.
This season, he has 50 receptions (88 targets) for 526 yards and a touchdown. If Engram cannot go, then the Giants would likely turn to third string tight Levine Toilolo. This season, Toilolo only has three receptions for 22 yards in 13 yards. Backup tight end Kaden Smith is also banged up with a knee injury and is also questionable for Sunday night’s contest. He played in last week’s game and recorded one reception for six yards.
