Game day update: No Deebo Samuel means Brandon Aiyuk should be plenty busy against the Cowboys. ESPN projects him with 15.4 fantasy points in PPR leagues, while projecting Kendrick Bourne with 8.1 and Richie James with 6.2.
This weekend the San Francisco 49ers wideouts will face a tough test as they take on the Dallas Cowboys secondary. We got all the info you need if you have one of these guys on your fantasy roster.
Fantasy Football analysis: 49ers WRs Brandon Aiyuk, Kendrick Bourne
Brandon Aiyuk has been one of the better plays for fantasy owners on the 49ers roster over the last few weeks. The rookie out of Arizona State has four touchdowns all season, but three of them have come in the last four weeks. In the one game he didn’t find the end zone over that span he racked up nearly 120 yards on 10 catches. He’s seen two games in the last three weeks with double-digit targets as well and has clearly become QB Nick Mullens’ go-to guy out wide.
Kendrick Bourne hasn’t been overly productive this season. He has only seen more than 7 targets one time this season and has only caught five or more passes once. Bourne also has a high-yardage mark of 81 and has just one score on the season.
The Dallas defense is pretty good at limiting yards by wide receivers, but they give up a ton of touchdowns. They’ve allowed 27 passing scores this season, the second-most by any NFL defense. That could mean Aiyuk can get a score or maybe even two on Sunday.
