Game day update: Josh Reynolds tempts us on occasion, but has not consistently produced to justify playing in anything but the deepest of fantasy leagues. This week, ESPN projects Reynolds with 7.0 points in PPR leagues against a bad Jets defense. This week and next against Seattle provide intriguing opportunities against shaky pass defenses. ESPN projects Robert Woods to have 16.7 points and Cooper Kupp to have 14.3 points.
With Jared Goff and the Los Angeles Rams’ struggles in the passing game lately, Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp have both seen a dip in their overall production numbers. Both players were once consistently solid WR1 and WR2 options in fantasy lineups. They’ll have the chance to bounce back this week with a game against the New York Jets.
Fantasy Football analysis: Rams WRs Cooper Kupp, Robert Woods, Josh Reynolds
Goff has thrown for fewer than 200 yards in two of the Rams’ last three games. Last week, that meant just 33 yards for Kupp on five catches on five targets. He did score for the first time since Week 4. Woods was targeted eight times but came away with just 32 yards on five catches.
Woods topped 80 yards in each of the two games before last week, edging Kupp in targets. He was dealing with a thigh injury in practice this week, but was still expected to play. He’s a better bet to compile more fantasy stats than Kupp, but both are solid WR2 options this week against the Jets.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp. Sit Josh Reynolds.
