The San Jose State Spartans have been one of the stories of the 2020 season, and they’ll look to win their first Mountain West Championship over the Boise State Broncos today in Las Vegas at Sam Boyd Stadium.
The Spartans are in Year 4 under Brent Brennan, and his 6-0 team has finally cracked the rankings at No. 24 in the College Football Playoff rankings. They’ve turned the corner behind quarterback Nick Starkel and a running game that averages 5.3 yards per carry. But Boise State will be the toughest test on their schedule, as the Broncos are 5-1 with only a loss to BYU sullying their record. Hank Bachmeier is one of the best young quarterbacks in the Group of Five, and Boise beats people with a balanced attack.
If you can’t watch this game on TV, you have the option to stream the matchup via the Fox Sports Go app. If you don’t have cable or an antenna, you can get a free trial from YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now, FuboTV, or Sling TV to stream the Mountain West Championship Game on Saturday.
The game is often a little bit delayed on live streams, but usually it’s only between 30 and 60 seconds behind the TV broadcast. That can impact you if you’re on Twitter or live-betting during the game, but otherwise it’s an easy option.
The Broncos are 6.5-point favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook while the Spartans are at +185 on the moneyline. The point total is set at 58.5.
