Darius Slayton, Sterling Shepard limited in Wednesday practice for Week 13

The Giants top wide receivers start Week 13 nursing injuries.

The New York Giants wide receivers, Darius Slayton and Sterling Shepard, were limited in practice Wednesday, per NYDN Sports Pat Leonard. Shepard is dealing with shoulder and toe problems, while Slayton is hampered by shoulder and foot injuries.

Slayton was obviously hampered last week with these injuries, as he didn’t make one reception on two targets against the Bengals while Shepard had a good PPR day, catching 7-of-8 targets for 64 yards.

A matchup with Seattle should be a positive one for the Giants wide receivers, but they will also likely be without Daniel Jones, as Colt McCoy will step in if Jones’ hamstring keeps him out.

Both receivers should be on track to suit up after getting in limited practices to start the week. But for fantasy, I’d like to see them get in full practices before starting either. And with McCoy’s weak arm, I’d rather play Shepard in PPR than Slayton.
