Who is Dan Arnold, you ask? It’s a fair question. Three weeks ago the Arizona Cardinals tight end would not have been on your radar as a viable fantasy football option. But suddenly, he’s finding the end zone with some regularity. This week, he’s playing against an Eagles team that’s been generous to opposing tight ends lately, and while it’s not going to make him a household name, it is enough that he might be of service in fantasy football.
Fantasy Football analysis: Cardinals TE Dan Arnold
Arnold had two catches on four targets for 27 yards and a touchdown last week against the Giants. That was the second week in a row he found the end zone and his fourth touchdown in his last four games. He had two scores against the Raiders the week before last.
The Eagles have given up touchdowns to opposing tight ends in both of their last two games and a total of eight so far this season. Arnold isn’t getting much in the way of targets, so he’s strictly a touchdown play, which can be risky, but this is a decent week to make him a TE2 if you’re in need of help.
