What to do with Hayden Hurst in Week 15 of the fantasy football playoffs

We go over the fantasy football outlook of Hayden Hurst ahead of the Falcons Week 15 matchup against the Bucs.

Like almost everyone else on the Atlanta Falcons roster, tight end Hayden Hurst did not have a productive game in last week’s loss to the Chargers. Targeted three times, Hurst caught just one pass for a grand total of seven yards. Whatever kind of fantasy football league you’re in, those kinds of numbers don’t translate into many points. Can he bounce back this week against the Buccaneers?

That was the second game in a row where Hurst failed to top 10 yards. He had just one catch on four targets the week before last too. Hurst’s numbers last week are even worse when you consider that the Falcons were without Julio Jones. His best game out of his last four was a four-catch, 48-yard outing against the Raiders in Week 12.

The Buccaneers gave up 63 yards and a touchdown to Vikings tight end Irv Smith last week, and 82 yards to Travis Kelce the game before that. Still, with Atlanta’s offense spinning its wheels, it’s probably best to avoid Hurst this week.
