In what we hoped would be a bit of a shootout, the Titans trampled the Jaguars in Week 14 by a score of 31-10. Mike Glennon took a seat on the bench in the third quarter while Gardner Minshew took the field. With Minshew as the starter once again, will any of the Jaguars wide receivers be usable in Week 15?
Fantasy Football analysis: Jaguars WRs Laviska Shenault, DJ Chark, Keelan Cole
Last week, we warned you of Collin Johnson’s outlier performance in Week 13. Sure enough, he fell back into his place as the WR4 in the depth chart while Keelan Cole set off everyone’s fantasy alarms. Minshew entered the game and quickly converted a touchdown to Cole, who ended the day with seven catches (season high), 67 yards, and a respectable 19.7 DKFP. Four of his five touchdowns this season have come from the arm of Minshew, so he definitely gets a bump with Gardner in the game. Laviska Shenault has also seemingly benefitted from Minshew, averaging 6.1 targets with him and just 2.6 without.
As is always the case, though, DJ Chark will project as the only “trustworthy” option as Jacksonville takes on Baltimore in Week 15. Coming off his worst back-to-back performance of the season, Chark will look to bounce back in a big way as the Jaguars are expected to trail in this matchup.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Chark as a FLEX option. Sit Shenault and Cole unless you’re desperate in deep, four-WR leagues.
