To no one’s surprise, the Jacksonville Jaguars were tucked away by the Tennessee Titans in Week 14, getting handed a 31-10 defeat. When the Titans hit 31 points, Mike Glennon was benched to make way for Gardner Minshew, who seemingly secured his starting spot for the remainder of the season, or at least until the Jags decide to switch it up again.
Fantasy Football analysis: Jaguars QB Gardner Minshew
When Minshew took over, he actually looked decent. Sure, the game was already out of hand, but the young QB racked up 178 passing yards and a touchdown. Gardner increases Jacksonville’s chances to pick up a win against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 15, though it will likely be a straightforward game for the latter. With the probability of the Jaguars playing from behind for most, if not all, of this one, there’s a shot at fantasy relevance for Minshew.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Only start Minshew in deeper two-QB leagues.
