The Tampa Bay Buccaneers head up to Atlanta this weekend to take on one of the worst defenses against the pass in the NFL. Here’s what we think you should do with the Bucs’ tight ends in your fantasy lineup.
Fantasy Football analysis: Bucs TEs Rob Gronkowski, Cameron Brate
Rob Gronkowski started the season off slowly but has come on strong down the stretch. He’s consistently getting somewhere in the 6-8 targets per game range. That could get even bigger this week against a Falcons defense that’s the third-worst in the NFL against passing offenses.
Gronk has 16 targets over the last three games. In that time he has a 100-yard game and a touchdown on top of it. Atlanta’s D is giving up an average of 15 fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends, which is the 5th worst in the league. Gronkowski has only played Atlanta one time, back in 2017, so there’s not a ton of history in this matchup to know what to expect.
Cameron Brate has seen his targets and production diminish as the season has worn on. He shouldn’t be a major factor.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Gronk
Sit Brate.
