What to do with Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt in Week 15 of the fantasy football playoffs

We go over the fantasy football outlook of Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt ahead of the Browns Week 15 matchup against the Giants on Sunday Night Football.

Should you Captain Nick Chubb against the Giants?

The Cleveland Browns backfield is tearing it up lately, especially Nick Chubb. In last week’s wild ride against the Ravens, Chubb had 82 rushing yards on 17 carries, and he scored twice. Kareem Hunt had a solid outing too, catching six passes for 77 yards and a receiving touchdown while adding another 33 yards and a touchdown on the ground. They’ll have another opportunity to carry fantasy lineups this week against the Giants.

Fantasy Football analysis: Browns RBs Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt

The Browns lean heavy on their ground game, which is why Chubb is getting an average of nearly 20 carries per game. He’s now found the end zone five times in his last five outings, and he topped 100 yards in three of those games and 80 in the other two. He’s become an obvious RB1 every week, no matter which team they’re playing.

Hunt doesn’t get nearly as many carries, but he does have an advantage for what he brings in the passing game. He now has five receiving touchdowns on the season.

The Giants are decent against the run, but that didn’t stop Kenyan Drake from having a nice outing last week. The Browns are going to run the ball no matter what, so both Chubb and Hunt are worth a spot in fantasy this week. Better still, they’ll play the Jets next week in what’s going to be the championship round in a lot of fantasy leagues.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Start Nick Chubb at RB1. Kareem Hunt is a solid RB2.
