Despite a final push from the Minnesota Vikings, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were successful in shutting them down. With that 26-14 loss in Week 14, the Vikings find themselves in a must-win situation against division rivals, the Chicago Bears. It projects to be a low-scoring game, but will that make a difference to one of the league’s best rushers?
Fantasy Football analysis: Vikings RB Dalvin Cook
Heading into Week 15, Dalvin Cook is just four touches (carries and catches) short of Derrick Henry, the league leader. Last week, Cook put up 102 rushing yards and a touchdown against one of the NFL’s best run defenses. This week, he’ll have to face yet another stout rush defense in the Bears. When these two teams squared off in Week 10, Cook was held to under 100 rushing yards, something that happened just four other times this season. Chicago successfully kept him out of the endzone, too, which has only been accomplished by two other defenses this year. While some people may see this as a sign of another suboptimal outing from Cook, I’d argue it’s more likely that the Bears defense won’t be able to do the same thing twice.
