What to do with T.J. Hockenson in Week 15 of the fantasy football playoffs

We go over the fantasy football outlook of T.J. Hockenson ahead of the Lions Week 15 matchup against the Titans.

Detroit Lions tight end T.J. Hockenson has been on fire lately. Last week against the Packers he caught six passes on a team-high 11 targets, posting 43 yards and scoring his first touchdown since Week 9. He looks like a solid starting option in fantasy football again this week, even with the team’s quarterback situation in flux.

Fantasy Football analysis: Lions TE T.J. Hockenson

Hockenson had 84 yards the week before last, against the Bears, and 89 yards the week before that, against the Texans. He’s seen his role in the passing game grow substantially in the absence of No. 1 wide receiver Kenny Golladay.

His ceiling is obviously higher with Matthew Stafford starting, but even if the Lions have to roll with Chase Daniels, he’s still got fantasy appeal as he’ll likely be a security blanket for the backup.

The Lions play the Titans this week. Tennessee has given up seven touchdowns to tight ends this season.
