Washington quarterback Alex Smith is out this week with a calf injury, so the Football Team will turn to Dwayne Haskins to make the start in his place. Washington is hosting the Seattle Seahawks with their playoff hopes on the line this week, so it’s a big game for the second-year signal caller who lost his starting job earlier this season. As for fantasy football, well, you might want to look for quarterback help elsewhere.
Fantasy Football analysis: Washington QB Dwayne Haskins
Haskins hasn’t started a game since Week 4. He threw four touchdowns and three interceptions in his four starts, but failed to complete more than 60 percent of his passes in all but one of those games. He got in a little work last week in relief of an injured Smith, completing seven of 12 passes for 51 yards.
In their last five games, the Seahawks have only allowed two opposing quarterbacks to throw more than one touchdown pass. It’s just too risky to have Haskins in your lineup for a fantasy playoff game.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Sit Dwayne Haskins.
