While the Washington Football Team has struggled to find wins this year against just about everybody, they’re currently on a four-game winning streak with no signs of slowing down as they get ready to take on a shaky Seahawks defense this week. Logan Thomas has had a hand in their recent success especially against some tough defenses like the Steelers and 49ers. Alex Smith will have to sit this weekend out due to a calf injury, and it’s looking like Dwayne Haskins will take his place as the starting QB.
Fantasy Football analysis: Washington TE Logan Thomas
Thomas did well over the last two weeks as he went 6-for-7 and 43 yards against the 49ers, while going 9-for-9 and an impressive 98 yards the previous week against the Steelers. The Seahawks have allowed just a 59.3% catch rate for opposing tight ends, but completed passes are going for 13.13 yards per reception, which is the highest in the league. Washington should be able to target Thomas as much as they have been in recent weeks and watch him gain some significant yards this week as he should be on the radar for any fantasy manager who has him on their roster. He’s scored five touchdowns this season, two of which have come in the last three weeks.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Logan Thomas.
