How to handle Jamison Crowder injury in Week 15 fantasy football

Jamison Crowder is on the Jets final injury report for Week 15. We break down what it means for fantasy football roster decisions.

Game status: Jamison Crowder is ACTIVE for Week 15.

The New York Jets listed wide receiver Jamison Crowder as questionable on the official injury report this week. The veteran slot receiver is still dealing with a calf injury that bothered him last week’s game. He did manage to suit up for last Sunday’s game, but did see a limited workload as he was obviously still hobbled.

Fantasy impact: Jamison Crowder (calf)

Crowder sat out Wednesday’s practice, but he was back on the field in a limited role on Thursday and Friday. That points to him being active and he is expected to play this week when the Jets take on the Los Angeles Rams.

Fantasy production might be hard to come by for Crowder this week, healthy or not. Sam Darnold is struggling lately, having thrown for less than 200 yards in five straight games—and just two touchdowns during that span. This week, the Jets passing offense will have to deal with Aaron Donald. Crowder may still have some appeal as a WR3 or WR4, given Darnold’s propensity to lock onto his slot guy, but his ceiling is pretty low.
