The No. 13 North Carolina Tar Heels and No. 5 Texas A&M Aggies will face off in the 2021 Orange Bowl. The game will take place at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. Kickoff is currently scheduled for 8:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, January 2. The game will air on ESPN and will be available via live stream at WatchESPN.

North Carolina has three losses, but at times has looked like one of the best teams in America. With wins over Virginia Tech, North Carolina State and Miami which were all ranked at the time, they have an explosive offense that can score with anyone. Quarterback Sam Howell has been a star with 3,352 with 27 touchdowns and six interceptions.

Texas A&M got boat raced by No. 1 Alabama, but handled everyone else on their schedule, including a great win at home over No. 7 Florida. The 8-1 Aggies lost 52-24 in Tuscaloosa, but has won six in a row by at least double digits. Quarterback Kellen Mond was an outside Heisman contender, with 2050 yards passing and 258 yards rushing and 22 total touchdowns.

This should be a contrast of styles with two outstanding collegiate passers, and should be one of the most fun games on the New Year’s Six slate.
