The UCF Knights and BYU Cougars will face off in the 2020 Boca Raton Bowl on December 22. The game will take place at FAU Stadium in Boca Raton, Florida. UFC finished the season with a 6-3 record, ranking fourth in the American Athletic Conference. Though the Knights were able to score early and often, their best win of the season was unfortunately in Week 1, when they defeated Georgia Tech on the road 49-21.
BYU finished the year at 10-1 in coach Kalani Sitake’s fifth season with the team — their first season with 10 wins since 2011 with former head coach Bronco Mendenhall. The Cougars entered the season unranked in the AP Poll before climbing into the top-10 for the entire month of November before their only loss of the season to Coastal Carolina.
