The Florida Gators and Oklahoma Sooners will face off in the 2020 Alamo Bowl on Tuesday, December 29th. The game will take place at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas with kickoff at 8:00 p.m. ET.
The Gators finished the season at 8-2, with their only losses coming on the road to No. 5 Texas A&M, and No. 1 Alabama in the SEC Championship. Quarterback Kyle Trask was a Heisman candidate for most of the season, though his favorite target TE Kyle Pitts has opted-out of this game for the NFL Draft.
The Sooners had two losses in Big 12 play to Kansas State and Iowa State, but rallied under quarterback Spencer Rattler as the season progressed to avenge the Cyclones misstep in the Big 12 Championship to claim the trophy.
