What’s in the player gift bags at the Cure Bowl?

Liberty and Coastal Carolina players will receive a number of items for participating in the Cure Bowl. Here’s a breakdown of the swag.

The 2020 version of the Cure Bowl has an undefeated team in the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers, along with the Liberty Flames in a battle between two of the better Group of 5 teams this season. You can find plenty of information on how to bet this game elsewhere on DraftKings Nation, but for those not allowed to make a wager, we taking a look at the gifts players will receive for playing in the Cure Bowl.

Just like pretty much everything in the year of 2020, bowl season isn’t the same. The stadiums will be far less filled than in normal years if fans are allowed at all, the events around the games are likely off and plenty of bowls are being canceled altogether. But despite all the challenges, players will still be receiving items for the bowl game they’re participating in, and we’re all over it. It’s swag season, folks.

As for the Cure Bowl, players will receive:

  • An online gift suite online (they’ll spend virtual points to create their own gifts)
  • A dri-fit shirt
  • A canteen
  • A Sasquatch Party Bag.

Of these items, the Sasquatch Party bag is the one I’m eyeing up. I was already considering purchasing the product based on name alone, but it’s a perfect item to have for outside activities during the summer.

Some bowls will send out more, some will send out less, but it’s not a bad haul for the participants of the Cure Bowl. And with the $550 retail value imposed by the NCAA (booooo), you could do worse as a player than being in Orlando on Boxing Day.
