The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will face off against the Detroit Lions for a Saturday game this week. And if you’re lucky enough to be playing in the championship game of your fantasy league, the matchup is brimming with potential for the team’s tight ends, or one of them anyway, to help put you over the top.

Fantasy Football analysis: Bucs TEs Rob Gronkowski, Cameron Brate

Gronkowski tied for the team lead in targets last week against the Falcons with seven. He only caught three of them for 29 yards, however. The week before he only caught one pass on two targets, but it was a touchdown, his fifth of the season. Brate had four catches on four targets last week with 54 yards to show for it. That was a season-high for him and not a number you can bank on from week to week.

The Lions defense has given up two touchdowns to opposing tight ends in their last two games.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

You can start Rob Gronkowski this week as a TE1, knowing that he’s somewhat touchdown-dependent.
