The Tampa Bay Buccaneers trio of wide receivers had a starring role in last week’s comeback win over the Atlanta Falcons. All three players broke through with big yardage or found the end zone to power the offense. This week they have a very favorable matchup against the Detroit Lions, with all three offering the potential to contribute to fantasy football lineups.
Fantasy Football analysis: Bucs WRs Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Antonio Brown
Evans led the way with six catches on seven targets for 110 yards. That was his first time north of 100 yards since Week 4. He did not find the end zone for the second week in a row, but his 11 touchdowns are a reminder that he’s a threat to score every week. The Lions have given up four touchdowns to wide receivers in their last two games.
Brown tied Evans for the team lead in targets with seven. He caught five for 93 yards and a score. Godwin had four catches on five targets for 36 yards and a touchdown. Brown has an edge in targets over Godwin in the last two games, pushing him above Godwin in overall fantasy appeal.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Evans is a WR1 this week. Brown is on the border between WR2 and WR3, and Godwin makes a decent Flex option.
