Kyler Murray had another big game last week. The Arizona Cardinals quarterback scored four times—three passing touchdowns and one rushing—and posted 406 passing yards, a new career high, to push his team past the Eagles. This week, he has a rematch with the 49ers. While another four-touchdown day may be harder to come by, he still looks like a good starting option for fantasy rosters as leagues head into championship week.
Fantasy Football analysis: Cardinals QB Kyler Murray
Murray’s had a few duds sprinkled into the mix this season. However, last week’s game was the fifth time in his last seven that he’s had multiple touchdowns. And it was definitely the best passing performance of his young career.
The last time he faced the Niners, back in Week 1, Murray threw for 230 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. He also rushed for 91 yards on 13 attempts in that one, adding another touchdown on the ground to help his team pull off an upset.
The 49ers are allowing an average of 220 yards per game to opposing passers. It’s a good sign for Murray’s fantasy outlook that San Francisco gave up a pair of passing touchdowns to Andy Dalton last week. He’s a solid starter with a high ceiling who belongs in your lineup this week.
