If we learned anything from the Colts’ 27-20 victory over the Texans in Week 15, it’s that we are going to have a hard time trusting any Indianapolis pass catchers in the Week 16 fantasy finals. Are there at least opportunities for T.Y. Hilton, Michael Pittman Jr., and Zach Pascal to shine, though?
Fantasy Football analysis: Colts WR T.Y. Hilton, Michael Pittman Jr., Zach Pascal
There is always the possibility that Philip Rivers hones in on one target in any given game. Four weeks ago against the Titans, Rivers latched onto Nyheim Hines (10 targets). The following week, it was T.Y. Hilton (11 targets). But while Zach Pascal logged a season-high of 24.9 DKFP (thanks to two TDs) last week, he actually only saw six targets, tying Hilton for the most on the team. Those two touchdown catches resulted in an outlier performance for Pascal, so we can’t put our faith in someone who was just recently been outdone by Michael Pittman Jr.
Not only does Indy have an unpredictable receiving corps, but it is also about to go up against a Pittsburgh defense that is allowing the eighth-fewest DKFP per game to opposing WRs. If you’ve made it to the fantasy finals, it’s likely because you haven’t made risky decisions like starting Pascal or Pittman. The only “reliable” option here is T.Y. Hilton, and even he is a tough sell in this matchup.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Hilton as a WR3/FLEX. Sit Pittman Jr. and Pascal.
