The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are still in a good position to make the playoffs, but they do need to win to hold off the crowd and a game in Detroit is a good opportunity to do just that. The Buccaneers are favored by 9.5 points at DraftKings Sportsbook, giving us some idea how the game-script could go this week.
Outside of the big names, who are some lower-tier value flex plays on both teams that could help you win the SNF DraftKings Showdown? Let’s discuss some options below.
T.J. Hockenson, TE, $6,400
Hockenson’s Week 15 was his worst fantasy finish of the season, which is tough for those with him in the fantasy playoffs. But, for this showdown, that game likely lowered his price and an average game from him would be great. He’ll likely be highly rostered, but his price and matchup are too good to fade.
Rob Gronkowski, TE, $5,600
Gronkowski has been inconsistent this season, but has shown enough upside to like at this price. He has 16 red zone targets on the season and has managed five touchdowns. Those 16 red zone targets rank fourth in the league for tight ends, giving him a better shot than most at finding the end zone.
Quinten Cephus, WR, $1,400
Mohamed Sanu, WR, $2,000
As long as Kenny Golladay remains out, Cephus and Sanu should continue to see work. Sanu is the “safer” play, while Cephus has more upside do to his big play ability. The Buccaneers have been torched by wide receivers of late, allowing the most DK points over the last six games to the position. Marvin Jones is of course a good play, but one of these two should bring back value at their low price.
