The Miami Dolphins head to Las Vegas to take on the Raiders for the Saturday evening game in Week 16. Both teams have a shot at making the playoffs, but the Dolphins have a better shot. Miami very much needs this win, as they face the Bills next week. Two wins and they are in, but one win and one loss and their odds are just below 50 percent.
Outside of the big names, who are some lower-tier value flex plays on both teams that could help you win the SNF DraftKings Showdown? Let’s discuss some options below.
Myles Gaskin, RB, $8,400
I usually pick cheaper players than Gaskin here, but wanted to make the point that Gaskin is coming back from the Covid list this week and should be the lead back for the Dolphins despite Salvon Ahmed’s strong game last week. Maybe Ahmed has won some work, but Gaskins is their starter and in a good matchup, so I’ll try fitting him in this week.
Mike Gesicki, TE, $6,600
Gesicki’s status for this game is still up in the air, but he was able to practice last week, so there is a chance he goes. If he does, he makes for a good play. He has been playing well of late and the Raiders linebackers are beatable. I’d want him to get in a full practice before starting him though.
Lynn Bowden Jr., WR, $4,600
There’s a good chance that the Dolphins will get at least some of DeVante Parker, Jakeem Grant and Mike Gesicki back this week, but Bowden did see nine targets two weeks ago with many of those players getting at least some work. I expect Bowden to still get a decent workload and he gets a good matchup in the slot this week.
