What to do with Patrick Mahomes in Week 16 of the fantasy football playoffs

We go over the fantasy football outlook of Patrick Mahomes ahead of the Chiefs Week 16 matchup against the Falcons.

Despite a tough matchup last week against the New Orleans Saints, Patrick Mahomes still made plays. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback threw three touchdowns and had 254 yards in the win. The Chiefs host the Falcons this week, a defense that’s not quite as prone to giving quarterbacks problems as the Saints. In other words, it’s a great week to have Mahomes in your lineup.

Fantasy Football analysis: Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes

Mahomes now has 36 touchdowns on the season, second most in the NFL. He’s thrown multiple touchdowns in every game except two this season. And he’s already got more than 4,400 yards with two games left to play.

The Falcons defense has given up six passing touchdowns to opposing quarterbacks in their last three games. Passers are averaging more than 300 yards per game too. If you’ve ridden Mahomes this far, he’s got the perfect game to finish the fantasy season.
