What to do with Hayden Hurst in Week 16 of the fantasy football playoffs

We go over the fantasy football outlook of Hayden Hurst ahead of the Falcons Week 16 matchup against the Chiefs.

Atlanta Falcons tight end Hayden Hurst finally saw an uptick in his fantasy production last week. With his team able to jump out to a big lead over the Bucs, Hurst caught four passes on five targets for 21 yards and a touchdown, his first score since Week 6. The question this week is whether or not he can be of value in fantasy lineups when his team takes on the Chiefs.

Fantasy Football analysis: Falcons TE Hayden Hurst

After a pretty steady level of production in the middle of the season that made him a decent weekly option in fantasy lineups, Hurst disappeared after the team’s Week 10 bye. In his two games prior to this last one, Hurst had just one catch in each, and he failed to top 10 yards in both outings.

In a normal week, Hurst is getting between five and eight targets from quarterback Matt Ryan, but what’s normal with these Falcons anymore? One thing that helps his value this week is that the Falcons are likely to be chasing points against the Chiefs. It makes him a risky TE2 option.
