What to do with Tyreek Hill, Mecole Hardman in Week 16 of the fantasy football playoffs

We go over the fantasy football outlook of Tyreek Hill, Mecole Hardman ahead of the Chiefs Week 16 matchup against the Falcons.

Last week was not an easy game for Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill. The Saints kept him and the rest of the offense bottled up most the day, but he did at least manage to roll up 53 yards on six catches (10 targets) and score a touchdown to eek out an acceptable fantasy line. Despite being targeted nine times, Mecole Hardman only had three catches for 22 yards. Things should be easier this week when the Chiefs host the Falcons.

Fantasy Football analysis: Chiefs WRs Tyreek Hill, Mecole Hardman

Hill was dealing with a hamstring injury during last week’s game, and it kept him out of practice on Wednesday of this week. While that clouds his status a little bit, the team was optimistic that he would play. Hill has scored in both of his last two games, but it’s been since his monster 269-yard outing in Week 13 that he’s crossed the 100-yard threshold. That could change this week against a soft Falcons secondary.

Hardman’s touchdown last week was his first since Week 8. He hasn’t had more than 50 yards in a single outing during that span either. With Hill and tight end Travis Kelce commanding so many targets, there’s just not enough left over to make Hardman a viable fantasy option.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Watch Hill’s status, but he’s an easy WR1 this week against Atlanta. Sit Mecole Hardman, unless Hill doesn’t play.
