As the Packers iced the Panthers last week 24-16 and won their fourth-straight game, Green Bay fans can take a breath as the Packers have now clinched not only a playoff spot, but the NFC North division as well. They’ll look forward to a relatively smooth Week 16 match-up against the Titans who are statistically one of the worst defenses against opposing receivers in the league.
Fantasy Football analysis: Packers TE Robert Tonyan
Although the Packers struggled in the air last week, Robert Tonyan found himself on the end of Aaron Rodgers’ only passing touchdown against the Panthers, marking his fifth straight game with a TD. Tonyan has amassed 10 scores on the season while averaging a handful of targets each game. He’s only missed six of 55 targets all season long, averaging 42.4 yards through 13 games. As the Packers go up against a weak Titans defense, there’s no reason to think Tonyan won’t perform exactly as you’d hope a high-end TE1 would. He’s a lock for any fantasy manager in Week 16.
