Justin Herbert led the Chargers to a 30-27 win over the Raiders last week while running in the game-winning touchdown in overtime. That was the Chargers’ second win in a row while Herbert threw for 314 yards overall, the seventh time he’s broken 300 passing yards this season. The Chargers will now look toward Week 16 when they take on the Denver Broncos.
Fantasy Football analysis: Chargers QB Justin Herbert
Herbert made history by recording his seventh 300+ yard passing game in his rookie season, while tying the record for most passing touchdowns by a rookie in NFL history. His 27 on the season is level with the record previously set by Baker Mayfield in his rookie season. Herbert’s late-game heroics secured the victory for the Chargers in Week 15, and now he’ll go up against a Broncos defense who has allowed the 10th-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks in the league this season which bodes well for Herbert and the Chargers. If you’ve got him on your team, there’s no reason not to start him as he can be a solid QB1 for anyone especially with the Chargers’ outlook against the Broncos this week.
