Along with rookie wide receiver Jalen Reagor, Eagles rookie quarterback Jalen Hurts is starting to get both tight ends Dallas Goedert and Zach Ertz involved more in the passing game. What should we expect from the tight end duo on Sunday against the Cowboys? Let’s break it down.

Fantasy Football analysis: Eagles TEs Dallas Goedert, Zach Ertz

In last week’s game against the Arizona Cardinals, Zach Ertz was actually the team’s leading receiver with two receptions (seven targets) for 69 yards. It was his best game since returning from injury in Week 13 versus the Green Bay Packers. Meanwhile, Goedert contributed four receptions (eight targets) for 39 yards. Goedert has now recorded four receptions in back-to-back games.

Between the two tight ends, Ertz had the better fantasy output, scoring 6.9 points, while Goedert had a pedestrian 3.9 points. On Sunday, the Eagles tight ends could fare better against Dallas. This season, the Cowboys are allowing seven touchdowns and 7.6 fantasy points per game to opposing touchdowns.
