Just when the Los Angeles Rams had locked in on a single running back to lead their ground game, he gets hurt. The team lost Cam Akers last week to a high-ankle sprain, nad he’ll be out this week, possibly longer. In his place, the team will once again turn to Darrell Henderson and Malcolm Brown to lead their backfield. Here’s how to handle that for fantasy football this week.
Fantasy Football analysis: Rams RBs Darrell Henderson, Malcolm Brown
The Rams rotated Henderson and Brown when Akers was out of action earlier this season. Based on precedent, Henderson will have an edge in overall touches, whereas Brown will still get enough to merit some consideration as a Flex player this week.
Seattle’s defense has given up 15 touchdowns to opposing running backs this season (12 rushing, three receiving), and the position is averaging just under four yards per carry.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Start Henderson as an RB2. Brown is a decent Flex.
