Best value lineup strategy for Titans-Packers SNF Showdown

We go over the top value plays under $5K for Sunday’s matchup between the Titans and Packers.

The Tennessee Titans and Green Bay Packers will wrap up Week 16 with a Sunday Night Football matchup 8:20 p.m. ET. DraftKings will have a Showdown contest available for the matchup and we’ve identified a couple of value plays worth considering. It’ll be hard to find cheap options, but these players are all $5,000 or less and could be impact players in Thursday’s game.

AJ Dillon, RB, Packers ($1,400)

Jamaal Williams is unlikely to play because of a thigh injury and Tyler Ervin is on the IR, so Dillon is next up on the depth chart. The Packers have been sure to divvy up the running back snaps so expect Dillon to spell Aaron Jones.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling, WR, Packers ($4,800)

MVS is one of the most polarizing hit-or-miss plays in fantasy sports. When he booms he can score multiple touchdowns and be among the Packers’ leaders in receiving yards but usually busts. He seems a little pricey with Davante Adams and Allen Lazard at full strength, but if he has a ceiling game you won’t regret rostering him.

Jonnu Smith, TE, Titans ($4,600)

Snow is in the forecast for this game so A.J. Brown and Corey Davis might be riskier plays given how consistent the Titans’ rushing attack is. Smith has remained fantasy relevant by being among the league leaders in touchdowns at his position and could benefit from some quality looks near the goal line in a game that’s not tailor-made for high volume passing.
