After missing the last several weeks with an injury, Philadelphia Eagles veteran wide receiver DeSean Jackson made his long-awaited return to the football field. However, the Eagles didn’t wait long to get him involved in the game as rookie quarterback Jalen Hurts hit Jackson for an 81-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter.
Surprisingly enough, that was Jackson’s only reception in the Eagles’ 37-17 to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. Before returning to the field on Sunday, Jackson only played in four games this season, with the last being in Week 7. Against the Giants, the veteran wideout had three receptions (five targets) for 34 receiving yards. He also had a 12-yard rush in the game.
However, Jackson’s best performance happened in Week 2 against the Los Angeles Rams, where he recorded six receptions (nine targets) for 64 yard. The veteran scored 6.4 fantasy points, which is a far cry from what he used to be. Next week, he’ll be going up against one of the best defenses in the NFL in Washington. Jackson is currently rostered in only nine percent of Yahoo fantasy leagues.
