How Ravens can clinch wild card berth in Week 17

The Baltimore Ravens head into Week 17 with a 10-5 record and have an excellent chance of clinching a spot in the field of the 2021 NFL playoffs. Baltimore has the second wild card spot and simply need to beat the Bengals in Cincinnati to clinch their spot.

If the Ravens were to lose a shocker in Cincinnati, they would still be able to clinch a playoff berth if either the Browns lose to the Steelers or the Colts lose to the Jaguars. On the off-chance the Ravens tie the Bengals, they would make the playoffs with one of the following four additional results: Browns tie, Colts tie, Dolphins lose in Buffalo, OR Titans lose at Houston.

If the Ravens win, they will be either the No. 5 or No. 6 seed. If they lose or tie and get some help, they would be either the No. 6 or No. 7 seed.

Baltimore entered the 2020 season as heavy favorites to earn a playoff berth at DraftKings Sportsbook. They were favorites to win the division at -225, and had -715 odds to clinch any kind of playoff berth. Only the Chiefs at -1000 were heavier favorites in the latter category.
