The San Francisco 49ers will be without their WR1, Brandon Aiyuk, in Week 17 when they face the Seattle Seahawks, per ESPN’s Nick Wagoner. The 49ers, who have dealt with numerous injuries to key players, will end their season with yet another injury to deal with on offense.
The good news is that Aiyuk will be fine and has shown himself to be a great draft pick for a team very much in need of receivers. Aiyuk will end his rookie campaign with 60 receptions for 748 yards and five touchdowns, as well as six rushing attempts for 77 yards in just 12 games played.
With Aiyuk out this week, we’ll likely see Kendrick Nourne and Richie James get the most playing time at receiver, while George Kittle should see his snap count move up after returning last week. Kittle will likely be the only pass-catcher we can truly rely on in fantasy.
