The No. 5 Texas A&M Aggies take on the No. 13 North Carolina Tar Heels in the 2021 Orange Bowl on Saturday, January 2nd. The game will take place at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
The Aggies made their case for the College Football Playoff, but came up one spot short because of a 52-24 loss to Alabama as their only blemish on a 9-1 SEC record. And somehow North Carolina is here instead of Coastal Carolina, BYU, Louisiana, Indiana, or plenty of other deserving teams. The Heels did finish with a very impressive 62-26 win over the Miami Hurricanes, but they’ve still got three losses.
