UPDATE: With Murray sidelined, Michael Porter Jr. went for 30-10 in the Nuggets 125-115 to the Kings on Tuesday. Nikola Jokic had another triple-double but also turned the ball over 10 times. The Nuggets have a lot of issues on defense right now. Denver has allowed over 120 points in three of four games this season and are now 1-3. Monte Morris scored 24 points with 4 assists in 37 minutes filling in for Murray.

UPDATE: Murray has been ruled out Tuesday vs. the Kings and Monte Morris is starting in his place at point guard. Morris becomes a very strong value play in GPPs and is even cash viable if you want to pivot.

Denver Nuggets PG Jamal Murray is questionable to play in Tuesday’s game vs. the Sacramento Kings due to an elbow contusion. Murray was not on the injury report earlier on in the day, so this is a bit of a surprise. The Nuggets are on the second of a back-to-back after beating the Houston Rockets on Monday night.

If Murray is sidelined, this will impact a lot of things later on the slate. Monte Morris would likely be the player to enter the starting lineup for the Nuggets. He’s $4,000 on DraftKings and would be a strong pivot play in GPPs with the potential for low ownership. Nikola Jokic ($10,200) would maybe be negatively affected by the Murray injury. Jokic has been the focal point of the offense and the main facilitator. No Murray takes away an elite shooter.

Michael Porter Jr. ($6,400) becomes an elite tournament play and would even be a good pivot in cash games if Murray is sidelined. Porter has had a great start to the season, averaging 16 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. We could also see some more Will Barton ($6,000).
