Game day update: Both Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson should be able to feast on the Jaguars’ secondary and in your fantasy football lineup. Thielen has had two-straight games of at least 15 or more fantasy points, while Jefferson has three-straight game where he’s scored at least 10 fantasy points. This week, they go up against a Jacksonville defense that has given up four touchdowns in the last three games to opposing wide receivers. ESPN projects Thielen, Jefferson to score 11.7 and 9.9 fantasy points, respectively.

The Vikings welcome the Jaguars into town this weekend, and they will be getting their leading wide receiver back, as Adam Thielen was removed from the COVID 19 list on Wednesday. The Jaguars have allowed the second most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers so far this season, and there will hopefully be enough room for success for both Thielen and fellow standout Justin Jefferson this week. Do they both belong in starting lineups this weekend? We break down the fantasy analysis below.

Fantasy Football analysis: Vikings WRs Adam Thielen, Justin Jefferson

Adam Thielen had an outstanding performance in Week 11, when he brought in eight receptions for 123 yards and two touchdowns, prior to landing on the COVID reserve list and being forced to sit out in Week 12. Thielen will hopefully be well rested and ready to resume his role as Kirk Cousins’ favorite red zone target in Week 13. Thielen is averaging 18.3 points per game and has an impressive 11 touchdowns in 10 games played. His target share, reliable hands, and propensity for finding the ball in the end zone give Thielen WR1 status this week. He should be added to starting lineups in all leagues.

Justin Jefferson capitalized on Adam Thielen’s absence, as he became Cousin’s new go to guy in Week 12. Jefferson had 13 targets which he turned into seven receptions for 70 yards and two touchdowns. He has been a consistent producer in this offense all season and that should not change in Week 13. Dalvin Cook sustained a minor injury in Week 12 and if he is limited or unable to go the Vikings may lean even heavier on their passing game. Jefferson will look to capitalize on a favorable matchup along with Adam Thielen and can be placed in lineups as a WR1 as well.
