The Baltimore Ravens should get back their rookie running back this week, as J.K. Dobbins has been activated from the Covid-19 list, per the team. Dobbins missed Wednesday’s afternoon game with the Steelers due to being on the list, but should be ready to go on Tuesday against the Cowboys.
Fellow running back Mark Ingram has yet to be activated, but there is no timetable as the veteran back goes through Covid-19 protocols. Against the Steelers, Gus Edwards and Justice Hill led the way, but Dobbins’ return will shake up the workload.
Before landing on the Covid list, Dobbins had the best game of his youung career against the Titans in Week 11. He rushed 15 times for 70 yards and a touchdown while catching two passes for an additional 15 yards. This usage was with the rest of the running back group healthy.
It will be tough to completely feel safe that he will again see 15-plus touches, but he does have 14 or more in three of his last four games. He makes for a good start against the Cowboys week defense this week.
