What to do with Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Le’Veon Bell in Week 13 fantasy football

We go over the fantasy football outlook of Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Le’Veon Bell ahead of the Chiefs Week 13 matchup against the Broncos on Sunday Night Football.

Game day update: Clyde Edwards-Helaire is questionable with an illness, but was feeling much better Saturday evening, per Ian Rapoport. The team will see how he feels when he arrives at the stadium, but they are hopeful he can play.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire led the way in the Kansas City Chiefs backfield last week. Unfortunately, with Patrick Mahomes dominating the Buccaneers through the air, there wasn’t much for the running backs to do. Still, they have a better chance to have some fantasy football impact this week against the Broncos.

Fantasy Football analysis: Chiefs RBs Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Le’Veon Bell

CEH had 37 yards on 11 carries last week, adding another two yards on a single catch. Bell rushed five times for 22 yards and caught two passes for another 10 yards. Those aren’t exactly game-changing numbers for fantasy football, and it’s become hard to trust either player with a regular spot in your lineup.

However, Edwards-Helaire did score twice the week before last, and the Broncos happen to be vulnerable against the run. Denver has given up six rushing touchdowns to opposing running backs in their last three games, and they’ve also allowed two players to rack up triple-digit rushing yardage in that same span. CEH is a decent play this week at RB2 or Flex given the matchup.
