When you’ve got two teams scheduling each other on several days notice for the best college football game of the weekend, you absolutely need merch. And two enterprising twins from the Lowcountry stepped up to fill a need, and did it perfectly.
Taylor Diveley and his twin brother Noah put the perfect slogan on a shirt for the No. 8 BYU Cougars vs. No. 14 Coastal Carolina Chanticleers this weekend in Conway in a last-minute matchup that could send one team to a New Year’s Six bowl with a victory.

It’s a callback to one of the great rivalries of college football in the 1980’s, and also honors the present by invoking the Chanticleers fashion signature, a team with the sweetest salad in the South.
Taylor Diveley tells me they’ve sold about 100 shirts as of about an hour ago, and the ones they printed to sell in person are long gone. You can get your own here, and you won’t just use it for today: Although details have yet to be won’t be announced until after this season, the Chants have agreed to a game in Provo sometime in the future.
And this shirt might be the best way to get a souvenir from what should be an unforgettable game for fans of the 2016 College World Series winners: Tickets to today’s game at Brooks Stadium in Conway, South Carolina start at $480 per seat on StubHub.
