What to do with Robert Tonyan in Week 13 fantasy football

We go over the fantasy football outlook of Robert Tonyan ahead of the Packers Week 13 matchup against the Eagles.

Green Bay Packers tight end Robert Tonyan is on a hot streak. Last week against the Bears, he caught a touchdown pass for the second game in a row, giving him seven on the season. It’s made him a steady option in most fantasy football formats, and he should be in lineups again this week against Philadelphia.

Fantasy Football analysis: Packers TE Robert Tonyan

Tonyan had 67 yards on five catches last week to go with his touchdown. He had five catches the week before that too, racking up 44 yards and a touchdown. While he may not produce Travis Kelce or George Kittle type numbers, he’s a solid starter in a season lacking for good tight end performances.

The Eagles have given up six touchdowns to opposing tight ends this season. More importantly, now that Tonyan has established himself as one of quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ preferred red zone options, it’s worth noting that opponents are scoring on 64 percent of their trips inside Philly’s 20.
