After an ugly performance against the Atlanta Falcons, Raiders quarterback Derek Carr will try to rebound on Sunday versus the New York Jets.
Fantasy Football analysis: Raiders QB Derek Carr
Last week was not a great week for Derek Carr and the entire Raiders’ offense. They could not stop the Falcons’ defensive pressure and the running game was non-existent. Carr completed 22-of-34 passes for 215 yards, zero touchdowns, and an interception. He also lost three fumbles, thanks to his offensive line getting beat by a drum.
It was a complete 180-degree turn from Carr’s play the previous week versus the Chiefs, where he posted 21.6 fantasy points in a loss. Last week, he only scored an eye-popping 0.60 fantasy points.
With all that being said, Carr and the rest of the offense should bounce back against the hapless Jets. This season, the Jets’ pass defense is allowing 284 yards and 1.9 passing touchdowns per game. They are allowing 23.8 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks, which is just what fantasy football managers love to hear.
