The Arizona Cardinals have allowed the eighth fewest fantasy points to opposing tight ends so far this season, foreshadowing a tough matchup for Tyler Higbee and Gerald Everett in Week 13. Neither of these tight ends have been able to make much of a splash so far this year, so are they worth considering for your fantasy lineups in Week 13? We break down the fantasy analysis below.
Fantasy Football analysis: Rams TEs Gerald Everett, Tyler Higbee
Gerald Everett is averaging 6.2 points per game this season. He only has 28 receptions on the year and has found the end zone once through the air and once on the ground. The bottom line for Everett is that he does not have a role that is consistent enough to trust him as a fantasy starter. He is nothing more than a touchdown dependent low end TE2 and he belongs on the bench in standard leagues.
Tyler Higbee is in a similar position to Gerald Everett as he averages 8.0 points per game this season. He has three touchdowns on the year, which all came in a monster Week 2 performance against Philadelphia. Since then, he has no touchdowns and has failed to reach double digit scoring in any single game. As with Everett, his role in this offense does not support fantasy viability. He belongs on the bench this week.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Sit Gerald Everett
Sit Tyler Higbee
