The New York Jets are rushing to finish up a dreadful season. And Frank Gore is leading the rushers in that rush. In Week 12, the 37-year-old veteran turned 18 carries into 74 yards against the Miami Dolphins. The Jets will move from their 20-3 loss to a matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders, who are looking to bounce back after a 43-6 implosion of a loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
Fantasy Football analysis: Jets RBs Frank Gore
Although he’s leading the backfield in touches, there isn’t much to get excited about with Gore. The Raiders have allowed the fourth-most DKFP per game to opposing running backs, but most of those points have come in the form of rushing touchdowns. That’s not really Gore’s forte this season. Through eleven games, he has found the end zone once. We’d have to go back to September of last year to find his last 100-yard rushing performance.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
It should go without saying, but I’ll say it anyways. Sit Gore.
