The New York Jets continued on their quest to finish with a winless record after a dreadful 20-3 loss to the Miami Dolphins. Sam Darnold’s first game since the first of November wasn’t really a disappointment, it was pretty much what we expected. Will the Las Vegas Raiders provide a path to fantasy relevance for Darnold?
Fantasy Football analysis: Jets QB Sam Darnold
The Raiders have allowed the eighth-most DKFP per game to opposing quarterbacks. That would be an encouraging statistic for any other team, but there’s just nothing doing for the Jets. There would be more to get excited about if Joe Flacco was reinstated as the starter, but head coach Adam Gase seems to be sticking with the young Darnold. Through seven starts this season, Sam has only thrown for more than 200 passing yards twice. He has tossed away eight interceptions and logged just three touchdowns. I think you know what our suggestion is going to be.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Sit Darnold. You shouldn’t even have him on your roster to begin with.
